Totally amateur, I mean, I don&#8217;t expect any professionals to be reading this. We have a brand new kitchen and so far I\u2019ve only made a few meals and one pound cake in it. <strong>Do you have any tried and true recipes that you just love and that are always a hit?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I would love a recipe for <a href=\"http:\/\/simplyrecipes.com\/recipes\/chimichurri\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>chimichurri<\/strong><\/a> and tzatziki and other fun ethnic sauces. Have you made them? Sure, there\u2019s tons of recipes out there, but that doesn\u2019t mean they\u2019re necessarily amazingly delish.<\/p>\n<p>This afternoon I decided that I wanted to find a recipe for garlic chips. I found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epicurious.com\/recipes\/food\/views\/Crispy-Garlic-Chips-354749\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>this one<\/strong><\/a>, that looks super easy peasy, but I\u2019d add some salt or maybe oregano to them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"http:\/\/sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-ak-snc3\/hs163.snc3\/19051_10100339441064201_2031866_65158939_3428801_n.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-ak-snc3\/hs163.snc3\/19051_10100339441064201_2031866_65158939_3428801_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"435\" height=\"326\" \/>My french toast casserole<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">My favorite recipes:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourbestbites.com\/2009\/09\/single-serving-pie-in-jar.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Individual pies in a jar<\/strong><\/a> (got rave reviews and several people asked for the recipe)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/baking.about.com\/od\/bundtcakes\/r\/dumppound.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Elaine&#8217;s Dump Pound cake<\/strong><\/a> (always a hit \u2013 I make it in a bundt pan with homemade buttercream icing)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.com\/recipes\/butternut-squash-soup-recipe\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Butternut Squash Soup<\/strong><\/a> (good hot or cold and definitely one of my favorites!)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/allrecipes.com\/Recipe\/Turkey-Pot-Pie-I\/Detail.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Turkey Pot Pie<\/strong><\/a> (one of my favorite dishes, but the filling was overflowing the pie crusts like crazy.
